A leading Program and Project Management expert, Mr. Kasper has spent the past eight years ensuring successful implementations.  Bob’s specialty is helping major corporations get large complex programs on track and keep them moving to the desired result.  Also a noted instructor, Bob has developed and delivered company wide project management training for firms like Hewlett-Packard. Under his guidance, teams develop incremental skills and the discipline of standard processes.  In each project Bob works across functional boundaries and engages stakeholders in the program’s success.  His experience at both large firms and startups allows Bob to scale projects appropriately with a balanced set of metrics.

Recent Client Engagements

Hewlett-Packard - Worldwide Product Catalog Program 

Program Manager for a $20+M, multi-year, international, corporate wide program.  Project successfully implemented a Content Management process and database to manage the ‘Core Product Information’ of HP products.   Bob coordinated more than 10 large projects  within the program.  As the day-to-day Program Manager, Bob worked with both program  Core Team and Program Sponsors, keeping the momentum of the project moving forward over an extended period of time, managing the Program schedule, all issues and risks, and outbound reporting. 

HP   Big Bang 2.0 Program- Served as coach and consultant to this large database implementation program.  Responsibilities included advice and training on Project Management, including schedule, resource, risk and change management. 

HP Project Management Training Class - Developed and provided formal Project Management training for Hewlett-Packard employees internationally.  This included developing a overall training strategy for HP and  transitioning the class to an external training firm.  Techniques used included Training-the-Trainers, classroom training and follow-up coaching.

Loudcloud

Developed a company wide Project Management process.  Defined a training strategy, prepared learning materials and led classes.   This included process incorporating Loudcloud-specific content, templates and processes and enabled the rapid adoption of consistent, quality Project Management by a broad range of employees.

Cisco Systems*

helped establish and manage the alliance created between Cisco and E&Y, managed multiple special projects, including top level executive meetings, responsible for overall project management, helped manage the creation of the current solution sets we are creating and selling        responsible for marketing and relationship management

Hewlett-Packard*

helped manage the alliance created between HP and E&Y, responsible for overall project management , responsible for marketing and relationship management, oversaw the establishment of the relationship between HP’s Manufacturing Industry Business Unit and E&Y’s Supply Chain Management practice

assisted with the divestiture of a business unit from HP to Celestica Canada, a contract manufacturer of printed circuit boards

Nationwide Insurance*

led a team which implemented a bolt-on Help application necessary for the new, on-line sales system E&Y was implementing, managed a team of six E&Y personnel, and five Nationwide employees

McDonnell Douglas*

led multiple teams of engineers to create and implement cost reduction ideas for the C-17 cargo plane.  Documented and helped implement almost $100M of cost savings over the life of the current C-17 program
